The Fourth House Interiors is a Laguna Beach–based interior design studio specializing in residential projects throughout Orange County, San Francisco, Southern California, and select locations nationwide.
We provide full-service interior design for room refreshes, remodels, renovations, new construction, and furnished interiors, from space planning and material selection through furnishings, lighting, procurement, and installation.

New construction allows architecture and interiors to develop together from the start. We collaborate with architects and builders early, shaping the decisions that determine how a home feels and functions, from spatial planning and finish selections to millwork, lighting, and furnishings. Each choice is considered in relation to the whole, creating a home that is cohesive, personal, and built to live well.

Renovation work begins with understanding what is already there and what needs to change. Whether the scope is one bathroom or an entire home, we work alongside your architect and contractor to bring consistency to every decision.
From space planning and finish selections to furnishings and procurement, we guide the process through installation so the finished home feels cohesive and considered.

Full -service interior design is for clients who want a clear, cohesive process from first ideas through installation. We develop the overall direction, select furnishings, fixtures, materials, lighting, and artwork, then manage procurement and coordinate installation.
Whether we are designing one room or an entire home, every decision is considered in relation to how you live.
OUR PROCESS.

STEP 1 - DISCOVERY.
Every project begins with an introductory call to discuss your space, your goals, and what you're hoping to create. If it feels like the right fit, we schedule an in person consultation to review the space, your priorities, budget, and aesthetic direction.
This gives us the information needed to prepare a design proposal specific to your project.

STEP 2 - PRESENTATION.
Once you choose to move forward, we schedule a site visit to take detailed measurements and photographs. We then develop the design, including floor plans, 3D renderings when appropriate, material samples, and a curated selection of furnishings and finishes.
At the presentation, we walk you through the direction and refine it together before moving forward.

STEP 3 - EXECUTION.
Once the design is finalized and selections are approved, we coordinate with the trusted professionals needed to bring it to life. We work with architects, contractors, and skilled trades as needed, while overseeing procurement and tracking each order.
This keeps the project organized and carries the design through construction and installation.

STEP 4 - FINAL INSTALL.
When the project is complete and every piece has arrived at our receiving warehouse, we coordinate a full installation day. Furniture is placed, artwork is hung, accessories are styled.
Once the last detail is in place, it belongs to you. Not a project any longer, but a home.
