A custom clothier in San Francisco had just secured an incredible space near Union Square for a new showroom for his custom men’s clothing brand, Scarborough. With 16’-high ceilings, massive columns and black epoxied wood flooring, it provided the perfect foundation for creating an inviting, unique space filled with original art, eclectic decor and furnishings, custom lighting, curtains, custom tiebacks and more. The front door was painted in a high gloss enamel in his brand color, inviting each client in for their by-appointment-only visit, complete with house-made coffee served in vintage coffee cups from Paris. All the items and pieces were chosen with care and intentionality, and the space took on a life of its own.
