Some projects arrive whole. This one arrived mid-sentence.
The Andalucia kitchen began as a collaboration with designer Cheryl Gardewine of Studio CG. When circumstances called her away, the work passed to The Fourth House, and with it the hundred small decisions that turn a concept into a finished room.
Those decisions became the language of the space. The wood stains, and the direction the grain runs. The granite and the marble, chosen slab by slab. A paint palette drawn to hold the room together. The cabinetry was reworked where it mattered most: the inset nook of the built-in buffet, and a set of cabinet pulls made by hand in wood, shaped for the palm as much as the eye. Each was resolved to be used, not just looked at.
The kitchen honors the concept first imagined here, carried through to completion.
